Ansonix Dya is spoiling us with SO much content here! Thankfully, there’s also a LOT of great quality tracks and variety here, with progressive rock, jazz, and gospel influences amount others throughout. A very enjoyable album that I’ll be listening over and over for many months to come. Favorite track: Ninjutsu Night School.

about

***PHYSICAL CASSETTE RELEASE NOW AVAILABLE BELOW!!***
lazerburnaudio.bandcamp.com/album/fall-damage

Fall Damage is a collection of singles / covers / and other rarities from 2013 - 2018 which I've wanted to officially package and release for some time now. It includes several tracks from previous Chiptunes = Win compilations , my single releases for YM2017, Cheapbeats, random collabs, covers and more!

If you purchase the album - you'll receive bonus songs that did not fit on the album + bonus pictures, logos and video of the actual time I fell on stage at Magfest.

Fall Damage is about Friendship. Some of the best moments of my life have been the friendships I've made at Magfest while being at Chipspace.

Fall Damage is the true story of how - while dancing around on stage to my music - I jumped up high during a massive drop.... thinking my dance move was perfectly in sync with the beat, only to crash REALLY hard onto the Chipspace stage at one of my Saturday night sets. But that wasn't all! I then fell backwards again - spun around and tripped over an amp. After finally regaining my footing - I finished out my set like a champ!

And instead of people mocking me - all I received was support and kindness. And that's what Chiptune is really about. Picking each other up when we fall down (sometimes quite literally) and sharing our passions for this wonderful music with each other. Which brings me to the point of this album!

Fall Damage is also dedicated to my mother Marjory who was my biggest fan and support and heard many of these songs before passing. I love you and miss you every day!

Thank you dear listener for taking the time to listen to my bleeps and bloops! Each track was loving crafted for various systems such as the NES, Sega Genesis, C64, Gameboy and Turbografx 16 etc. I hope there's at least one track you can find in here to enjoy!

Thank to my awesome kids, my wonderful girlfriend, and my precious family for believing in me and putting up with my racket! You guys rock!

Thanks to all of my collab partners (Chain Reaction, Jredd, Groovemaster303, Drexegar, Themnotyou, Jisun Hughes) who are represented on this album and to those who are not..

I'd also like to thank the following individuals and groups who have supported me over the years in some way! All of my Chjiptunes = Win family - especially Brandon and Erin Hood and thanks to Trevin Hughes, Will Harby, Clover, David Burton, Patricio Peirera, Geoffroy La Roux, Jesse Jensen, Geekbeatradio, Rob Carballo, Famisquad, Ethan Desautels, Evan Desautels, Randolph Waddell, Ello Costello, Adrian Shegstad, Stig, Izzy Janx, Tom Miller, Glenn Dubois, Adam Seats, Viridian Forge, Catskull Electronics, Retro Obscura, Adam Kennelley, Daniel Tolin, Paul Stevenson, Retro Junkies: Rob Luther, Landon Long, William Culver, Joshua Witt, John Wedgeworth, Erik Purcell + family, 2 Dudes and a NES - (Justin and Mike) Ed Wilson, Mike Levy. Track Name: Music is Worth Living For
MUSIC IS WORTH LIVING FOR

And I’ll bet you never thought
You’d live to see the day
Where we could play
With joy and laughter

And I’ll bet you never thought
We’d make it all the way
And we could stay
Forever after

But I guess we proved you wrong
And I guess we showed ‘em all
We paid our dues
Getting up off the floor

And I guess we proved you wrong
And I guess we showed ‘em all
So much to lose
Walking right out the door

Music is worth living for

Music makes life worth living
Music is worth living for

Music is worth living for

Music makes life worth living
Music is worth living for

A higher power that I can’t deny
Music makes me feel so high
Like the glorious sound of God
Coming down like a lightning rod

Give me the will to love
So below and as above
The only way that I’ll survive
Music makes me want to stay alive

And I’ll bet you never thought
We had the strength inside
Yeah, we almost died
And we kept on going

And I’ll bet you never thought
The pain was justified
But we found our pride
And we kept it growing

But I guess we proved you wrong
And I guess we showed ‘em all
We did our best
We played until our hands were sore

And I guess we proved you wrong
And I guess we showed ‘em all
Never gunna rest
We’re always gunna go for more

Music is worth living for

Music makes life worth living
Music is worth living for

Music is worth living for

Music makes life worth living
Music is worth living for

A higher power that I can’t deny
Music makes me feel so high
Like the glorious sound of God
Coming down like a lightning rod

Give me the will to love
So below and as above
The only way that I’ll survive
Music makes me want to stay alive
Track Name: Not In Love
I saw your picture hangin' on the back of my door
Won't give you my heart
No one lives there anymore
And we were lovers
Now we can't be friends
Fascination ends
Here we go again
'Cause it's cold outside, when you coming home
'Cause it's hot inside, isn't that enough
I'm not in love
Could it be that time has taken it's toll
Won't take you so far, I am in control
And we were lovers
Now we can't be friends
Fascination ends
Here we go again
'Cause it's cold outside, when you coming home
'Cause it's hot inside, isn't that enough
I'm not in love
I'm not
And we were lovers
Now we can't be friends
Fascination ends
Here we go again
'Cause it's cold outside, when you coming home
'Cause it's hot inside, isn't that enough
I'm not in love
I'm not in love
I'm not in love
I'm not in love
We are not in love
We are not in love
We are not in love
We are not in love
We are not in love
Track Name: Survive
Lyrics:
Oh my, naked eyes
I should have kept you
I should have tried
I should have been a wiser kind of guy
I miss you
Give me wings
Give me space
Give me money for a change of face
These noisy rooms and passion pants
I loved you
Where's the morning in my life?
Where's the sense in staying right?
Who said time is on my side?
I've got ears and eyes and nothing in my life
But I survive your naked eyes
I'll survive
You alone across the floor
You and me and nothing more
You're the great mistake I never made
I never lied to you, I hated when you lied
But I'll survive your naked eyes
I'll survive
Beatle boys, all snowy white
Razzle dazzle clubs every night
Wish I'd sent a Valentine
I love you
I'll survive
Naked eyes
I'll survive
I'll survive
My naked eyes
I'll survive
